Aninze"Zee" Awanna
has accumulated a combined 36 years of government service, as a retired Navy Veteran of 20 years and a retired federal Contracting Officer of 16 years.
From her years in the Navy, she became familiar with the real estate industry informally based on several military moves, renting, buying, and selling her own residences. She wanted to see how she could use that informal experience in real estate to apply to a business.
Not really wanting to deal with the tenants and toilets aspect of rentals, she took an interest in residential mortgage note investing. In 2018, Zee established Awanna Holdings LLC to invest in and buy residential mortgage notes.
Awanna Holdings LLC not only creates long-term passive returns to investors through mortgage notes, but it is also committed to helping existing mortgage borrowers stay in their homes.
After retiring and relocating to Arizona, Zee became interested in further helping borrowers by becoming a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Inspired by her own Loan Officer when buying her new home in Arizona, she saw being a Loan Officer as another valuable way to offer alternatives to help new and existing borrowers with their mortgage loan needs.
